The first on-site meeting of the TEDIS project team took place in Kalisz, Poland, where the Project Partner Edulabor has its headquarters. The meeting was attended by representatives of all Project Partners: coordinators, methodologists, as well as university teachers and future authors – specialists in individual fields. The meeting was hosted by 3 representatives of Edulabor, the partner University of Akureyri in Iceland was represented by 5 people, and WSB Merito University in Poznań was represented – by 7.
The meeting included presentations from the Partner organisations and universities, in particular their experiences in delivering distance education.
All aspects of the project were discussed in detail: objectives, target groups, results, indicators, scope, activities, and schedule. The project manager presented the rules on project funding and promotion.
The project schedule was jointly updated with specific dates for task completion and preparation of results and meetings. Methods and tools for project communication and monitoring were established.
The implementation of the first task in the TEDIS project, “In-depth analysis of the project partners and their environment in terms of the strengths and weaknesses of distance education”, was discussed in detail. Each partner presented the status of the work to date and the scope of the report was jointly clarified.
Activities for the coming period were discussed and the date and scope of the next meeting and workshop at UNAK were set.
The meeting also included workshops and team-building games, which gave all the project team members a chance to get to know each other better. A nice touch was a joint tour of Kalisz, its famous Piano Construction Technical School and High School of Fine Arts, as well as the beautiful nature and sights of the Kalisz area.

The meeting continued with a workshop (learning and training activities) of the TEDIS project team 31 May – 3 June 2023 in Poznań.
